They pride themselves on their quality craftsmanship and rich history restoring listed & specialist buildings.
Their previous website served its purpose, showing examples of previous work and a point of contact. But after some years the design had become dated, with the content no-longer being relevant to their goals and story.
We built the new website using WordPress, which in most cases is our first choice. We worked closely with their marketing team to create a visually appealing website, which made use of whitespace and typography in a way that wouldn’t distract users from the stunning photography.
The website not only had to look attractive, it had to function in a way which simplified the users journey, making their high priority content no more than a few clicks away.
We achieved this by creating custom post types for both the services and portfolio items, which allowed each service/portfolio page to be placed into a category. Alongside this, we built some functions which allow the webmaster to select related projects to match each individual service, pairing the two together.
