So we thought, why not design a movie theatre WordPress theme which anybody can purchase, add their own content and away they go?
We decided to make this movie theatre website to experiment with some features using WordPress, which we could later use on client websites.
Some features included realtime movie show times, which detects the users timezone, and shows upcoming movies whilst disabling past times. Also the ability for webmasters to set time periods via a calendar in which a movie can be visible on the website, meaning they can add movies in a batch and set them to show on the website periodically.
